The Void Within Plot Resumes!

After a long hiatus The Void Within, now titled  The Void Within: Lost in the Dark is back!
You can read a detailed rundown of the latest developments in Sketched Neo’s Plot guide below:

To kick off your return to the plot you have to head to the Hub to read the vignette of Chapter 8: Wondering Passages . Doing so will unlock some prizes as well as a new Battledome challenger.

In this chapter, we learn that the Shadows have just launched an attack on the Lost Desert, assaulting Qasala and Sakhmet simultaneously. The enemy also seeks to divide the council of heroes, forcing each leader to defend their own lands. Nyx and the group encounter a Doglefox, and Juni manages to see through the void, finding the path to the cave that will lead them to Altador.
Chapters are now fully released all at once—so you can read every panel in one go and claim your rewards immediately.
Chapter 8 includes 13 panels (adding +13 bonus points to your storyline score) and three collectible prizes—just click the ‘Collect Prize’ button on each prize page.
 
 Each chapter now has a limit of  3,000  plot points  , which you can earn within a  two-week time limit (until August 18) by completing the various activities. There is no longer a daily limit.

You can now purchase the new Dr. Landelbrot’s Void Attractor Prototype from the NC Mall for 275 NC, which gathers daily essences for a full week automatically (7 days from activation).

Keep earning points by participating in the Reserve Barracks  and Volunteer Program. Once you read panel #4 of Chapter 8, you’ll unlock Act III: Lost Desert Duel, featuring:

  • A new battle opponent: Wretched Wisp (appearing in three waves)

  • A new Hospital slot

Check the Fearless Deeds section of the Pot Guide for new achievements tied to this act. For example, click the Doglefox in panel 3 of Chapter 8 to unlock the “Pet the Doglefox” achievement. More achievements will be revealed over time.
